The practice
The gap always sends an invoice.
Every business has two versions of itself: what it is, and what it’s believed to be. They’re never the same size. When you’re better than you look, somebody else collects the spread – the lender in basis points, the buyer in the multiple. When you look better than you run, everything comes due at once, the day hostile eyes arrive. I close the gap, from whichever side is short.
Outside · believed, seen, funded
As believable as it is good
Financial models a lender takes seriously. Files that survive someone paid to disbelieve them. A website – designed, written and built – plus the name and the story that match what’s actually inside.
Inside · working, running, scaling
As good as it claims to be
The software itself, when the thing you need doesn’t exist off the shelf. The automation and the integrations that give back the week a business loses to itself. Systems and knowledge that don’t live in one person’s head.
⇆ THE GAP
What the work looks like
01
Financial models & valuationOUTSIDE
Numbers a lender or a buyer takes seriously – built from your documents, not from vibes.
02
Diligence-ready filesOUTSIDE
A data room that survives someone who’s paid to disbelieve it.
03
Story, site & nameOUTSIDE
The public version of the business, matched to what’s actually inside.
04
Software & internal toolsINSIDE
Web apps, internal tools, dashboards – built, shipped and handed over. Usually because the thing the business actually needs isn’t for sale.
05
Automation & integrationsINSIDE
The week the business loses to itself, handed back. Pipelines, APIs and the systems that finally talk to each other.
06
Systems & documentationINSIDE
How things run, written down – so it doesn’t live in one head.
How I work
I learn your business.
The contracts, the numbers, how the money actually moves. That’s how the thing nobody else caught gets caught.
You get me.
Not a team with my name on it. When it counts, I’m the one in the room taking the follow-up question.
Plain scopes, plain language.
If I can’t tell you simply what you’re paying for and why it’s worth it, we shouldn’t do it.

I try to keep them off the rest of this site. But if you need to hear what I do in consultant-speak, drag the slider. Same job, five "dialects".

I fix the gap between what your business is and what it looks like.
I read your documents, build numbers people believe, and set up systems so the place runs without heroics. When the thing you need doesn't exist yet, I write it – the site, the internal tool, the plumbing between the two. You pay for outcomes you can point at.
