Bitter Margarita
A fun spin on a margarita that adds Campari – a little bitterness to keep the lime and tequila honest. Shake it hard, serve it cold, thank Leon’s later.

Lime wedge or dehydrated lime wheel
Optional: sugar-and-salt wedge, or salt half the rim.
How it goes
1Salt half the rim of a rocks glass if you want it – half, so you get a choice with every sip.
2Shake everything with ice until the shaker hurts to hold. About 15 seconds.
3Strain over fresh ice. Big cube if you please.
4Lime wedge or a dehydrated wheel on top – roll the wedge in equal parts sugar and salt if you’re feeling it. Hand it to someone you like.
